Life

Life and are our bodies or our house here on earth are so dispensable and and easily gone. It is crazy to think how easy a life can change or be gone. I think about the 5 men in Ecuador they knew they could die, we can die at any given time, but they probably didn't count on that moment. They didn't get final goodbyes or to do everything they wanted to. But is that what matters? No what matters is that we were living for Christ and that we are going to see Him and have a better life. I'm not scared of dying. I don't necessarily believe I have done everything in my life yet to declare Gods name but I have committed myself to Him and loved others in His name. Today I got in my first very minimal accident or just a fender bender with another car at the high school. Which there are tons of scary drivers there but there are many times at a certain corner that you can't see and people go super fast and it scares me so much. It just makes you realize that really the only importance here on earth is not to get good grades, get married, make a certain amount of money or go to all these places in the world but to be living in our spirit and connected to Gods spirit and preaching His name! I am not saying not to care about all those things but just to realize how little this life is to an eternity with God. Is it really worth doing one wonderful thing that is sinful or against God just to make this life a little better but say when I die I still choose you. We have to choose God NOW not when this life is over. This life does come fist and in this life there are so many people that NEED to know about God and His power and long for a Father like Him. The goal of this life is to love Him so we are day by day getting closer to being with Him. I'm not saying this life is a waste I am saying to make this life all about God and live it in Him and nothing else! There are things God wants us to enjoy, He doesn't want us to be miserable but we can't enjoy them without God!
This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the Lord is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. (Deuteronomy 30:19, 20 NIV).
Whoever fears the Lord has a secure fortress, and for their children it will be a refuge. The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, turning a person from the snares of death. (Proverbs 14:26, 27 NIV).
What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin— because anyone who has died has been set free from sin. Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness. For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:1, 2, 4-14, 23 NIV).
I just want to live this life for God and rejoicing in Him! I don't want to say oh tomorrow I will do this for Him I want to be doing everything for Him whenever I can!!!
