Matthew 5

Oh my goodness this is an amazing chapter!!!!! Wow!! There just aren't words to explain it except read it!!! Gods spirit is powerful in this!! I love it!! I love the last section that talks about how when we don't love our enemies of the people that are hard to love, we are no different than those that don't love Jesus!!! Take some time and look at my notes but most importantly read Gods word!!!!

You Matter

I came up with this idea today to frame the ticket from a concert I went to with some boys I babysit. We had such a wonderful time at the for king and country concert last November!! I still need to do something for the other kiddos too:).
If you have a moment take some time and read into For King and Country and their purpose! They have some awesome words out there and lots of amazing music!!

Matthew 4

Here are my Matthew 4 notes!! I really like these chapter, because it is the beginning of Jesus showing us and the world who He was!! We get to see into His ministry. He didn't have a list of possible disciples and then have interviews. He saw them and told them to follow Him.

Matthew 2

Here are my notes from Matthew 2!

New year!

So one of my goals this year was to try and start posting every day again. Obviously that failed, for the first 4 days...Last night I was thanking God for my relaxing break to just get to find peace in myself again and just actually relax. Most of the time I am just going going going! And the first couple days of break that's how it was too. But then I got a cold and just felt crummy. I do not believe God wants us to never have breaks and just tire ourselves out. He even rested on the 7th day. By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done. (Genesis 2:2-3 NIV). That resting time is for us to speak to our Father and serve our relationship with Him. We are constantly serving others for Him, working, running around, doing stuff around the house; but we also have to keep our relationship with Him healthy and strong!!

I also wanted to share my new way of taking notes. I used to be very adamant about reading my bible in the morning, but this year I have let that go. I have spent some time over breaking redoing my morning schedule and I am excited to get back to my Jesus time in the morning!
I will be going through Matthew to start the year!

I got this idea from a present I did for a boy I babysit for recently. I made him a scripture scraps notebook. I used lots of scrapbook paper and fun stickers and notes and drawings and other random things! It makes taking notes from the bible so much more fun and alive. So I have started cutting pieces of paper out and writing verses that stand out to me on them!
